Divorce! WTF!! What happened???
This was perhaps Hollywoods most talked about, influential power couples. They seemed so put together. Everyone, well expect the media who kept incessantly reporting on their pending break-up until it eventually happened, everyone other than that was so invested in their relationship and the long term success of it. Jake Gyllenhaal! Ahh! There is definitely something about him. I was drawn to him from day one. Before he was a Huge Mega-Star, I just knew that he was going to make it Big! There’s just something about him. I personally think that it has something to do with his eyes. There is a certain sincerity in them. This comes through on screen and just captivates the audience no matter the role he is playing. Not to mention that he is a heart-throb. Continue reading Jake Gyllenhaal
I recently heard of the passing of 27-year-old actor Anton Yelchin. I was absolutely shocked!! How could this be! So young. So much potential. I could not believe it. I REALLY like Jim Carrey. Some may think that he’s a bit over the top with his slapstick but he just cracks me up. I’m usually not a fan of this genre of performance but for some reason, I just love to see him execute. It’s the facial expressions and the timing of his humor. James “Jim” Carrey has been at it for Years.
Here are some of my favorite movies from Mr. Carrey (in no particular order) : Continue reading Jim Carrey – not just a comedian
I wanted to pay tribute to Muhammad Ali. We’ve yet again lost another of the great ones. Muhammad Ali was actually born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr., January 17th, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. He began training at the tender age of 12. His coach was Mr. Joe Martin, a police officer who decided he’d teach him a thing or two after young Ali, still going by Cassius at the time, swore that he’d pound to the ground the foul who stole his bike.
